• The loosening of damaged hexagonal screws is a recurring source of frustration for mechanics and it could waste them a lot of time. The new OGV® GRIP profile, based on the same approach as the FACOM OGV® for its sockets, gives the hexagon bits great efficiency.
• Standard hex tools stretch fastener materials when torque is applied. Pressure is exerted on the outside corners removing material and eventually rounding them out. OGV® GRIP hex engage both the corners and the rounds of a fastener.
• Torque exerted on the fastener engages material and pulls it inward allowing the tool to grip and turn maintaining the integrity of the fastener. OGV® GRIP hex tools will turn a fastener that is rounded up to 98% as well as prevent good fasteners from rounding out.
• OGV Grip special profile for damaged hexagon socket heads.
