Shipping to UK

We carry 1000’s of items in stock and deliver within 48 hours in most cases; however, if your item is not something that we have available off the shelf we still aim to supply within 5-7 working days (depending on the manufacturer), to a UK mainland destination.

We operate a backorder system and can dispatch items that we have available with the remaining item(s) to be delivered once received from the manufacturer. In the unfortuante event of and item not being in stock at the time of ordering, we will contact you within 48 working hours of the order being placed to advise what item(s) are out of stock and if you would like the rest of the order dispatched with the backordered item(s) to follow, wait until complete or refund any missing item(s). With daily collections from DPD, EVRI, TNT, DHL and Royal Mail – if the item (s) are in stock, orders placed before 2pm we will dispatch the same day for delivery normally in 1-2 days (UK Mainland only).

Larger items; such as Tool Boxes, Trolley Jacks etc. are normally sent direct from the manufacturer. Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands & Highlands and other remote areas, may take 2 or 3 days longer. These areas could also incur an additional carriage charge.

Carriage is FREE on orders of or over £20.00 + VAT (UK Mainland only & except some heavy items). Orders below £20.00 Nett placed online, will incur an automatic £3.99 shipping charge.

If an error is made during the ordering process (i.e. incorrect house name, number or if a delivery address has not been selected) we reserve the right to cancel the order or incurr a redelivery fee.

Shipping Worldwide

We operate a shipping quote system through the website. This enables us to calculate the shipping manually and work out an accurate and fair price depending on the item (s) ordered and destination. One of the team will then process this and you will receive the order back into your PrimeTools account or via email were you can then view the order with shipping. If you are happy with the shipping charges you can pay securely online using PayPal, Credit/Debit Card, or Bank Transfer.

We use Royal Mail Airmail, DPD and DHL for worldwide shipping and aim to get the best possible price available to send your goods.

VAT (Taxes) will not be charged to you by us if you are outside the UK. This will be deducted upon the shipping calculation process.

Please note that you WILL be charged duties and taxes locally once the goods enter the destination country. The courier will not release the goods to you until this has been paid by yourself. PrimeTools does not accept responsibility for any taxes or duties charged locally. Failure to pay the charges will mean the goods are returned to us. Any return costs the courier charges will be deducted from the refund of the order.

BREXIT (Shipping to EU countries)

Now the United Kingdom has left the EU we no longer charge VAT (Taxes) to EU customers. This will now be charged locally by the customs department of the destination country. Please check the customs clearance, import duties and taxes charges locally before placing orders. PrimeTools are not responsible for charges incurred by the local customs authorities.
